Dear Keith...

Hi,
My name is Desiree and I was wondering what the requirements were for getting your horse trained. I heard that i can get my horse trained for $350 if there is an open slot, but I don't want to ride my horse like the website says.
My filly is 2.5 yrs old and was hand raised since she was 5 days old, which is my reason for her training. I have ridden her, but only at a walk for about 10 min every ride. She's not the angel people think she is. She has tried to run me over several times, threatened/ kicked me, plays this game where she tries to nip me, moves around constantly when on the lead rope, and deosn't respect my space out of the round pen. I think she has A.D.D. (if that is possible) because she gets destracted very easily, even in the round pen. She is really good at bluffing too. i.e. in the round pen, she does all the necessary signals, but when i go to join up she pulls off her nipping crap. Then i ask her to work again for doing that and she kicks out at me, just fast enough where i can't fix the problem. I know there are other problems, but i can't think of them all. Usually i can get her to behave decently, but not with other people. Half of this problem isn't only from me, its from other peo ple as well. She has always been friendly, and she soon figured out that she could get away with a lot of stuff. I can't babysit her 24/7 from other people, so i want her trained right...to respect people.
Please let me know as soon as possible if there are any slots for her if she is allowed.
Thanks
Sincerely,
Desiree |
