I have a half arab half quarter horse filly Fifteen months old. She has been with her mom and two other of my horses since day one. I did seperater her from the mare for a month to ween. When i try to work her in the round pen alone you probably know where her mind is, not on me. Should i seperate her from the other horses at all. When we ride without her tailing along she nuts up. I have to keep her in the round pen when doing so for safety sake. I have Raising Baby. I just feel i should be doing something different. This is my first horse to raise from scratch and dont want to end up with a mistake. I am also a natural hoof trimmer. Any help or material reference would be greatly appreciated.
