"He is only a month old but already a little pushy"

Dear Keith...

Friday, June 23, 2006

I think I am going to have a big problem on my hands soon. I have a foal that was rejected by the mother at birth and I am now raising him. He is only a month old but already a little pushy. Do the same methods work on colts this young? His main problem is rearing up and spinning to kick at you. It may be only play the way he would a mare but I am not up to this with a person. Any thoughts? Thanks, Yalonda
