I have just purchase my first horse. He is 15 months old and I have not worked with one since I was 13. I am now 45 years old. I love my three dogs, fish and horse's are the one thing I always wanted. I have 24 acre in the middle of nowhere with lots of grass and trees, I had to go by my place a doz. time before going home just to make such the he was mine I steal cannot believe that Lakota his out here. I feel like I am dreaming he is so handsome, I know you think that this lady is craze but it is just so hard to put what I feet in to word for this horse. I know I should have bought one trained already but most of them do not give that special feeling when I am around him. Lakota need to be trained and I want to do it. He is halter broke but that is all. Can you help me out? I need to know what to do next. I do not want to bring someone in because I do not want him hurt. And most of the train around here believe in whip or spurs. I do not. I love my horse and my dogs and would not lets anyone do anything to them. So if their is any thing you can help me with I would appreciate it.
